SEA CONDITIONS :
In this stunning part of the Tuscan archipelago, the sea is almost always calm with a few waves in the afternoon.
The water temperature varies from 18° to 24° C during the summer season.
The PuntAla Camping Resort guarantees safe and clean waters, certified by international environmental entities (Legambiente – 5 Sails Goletta Verde 2008).

WIND CONDITIONS :
Between May and September, there are approximately 20 days of wind every month, 4bft minimum intensity. A constant sea breeze rises in the afternoon. Winds blow mostly from the West/North-West (Mistral) with a few days of warm and gusty Sirocco from the South. South-west winds (Libeccio) are rare and occur between July and August.

WEATHER CONDITIONS :
General situation – Punta Ala, located on the coast of Tuscany, is known for its constant good weather conditions. Punta Ala is sheltered from the cold currents carrying rain and humidity from the North-North West by the Piombino headland and the Capanne mountain on the Elba island. This portion of coastline guarantees at least 70/80 days of sunshine and nice weather during the summer months from June to September. Temperatures, mitigated by the influence of the sea, range from 24° to 28°C with rare peaks at 34°C in the hottest days when the Sirocco wind is blowing. The temperature difference in the evenings is considerable, especially in the pinewood forest, with the temperatures ranging between 18° and 20° C (bring a sweater).
April and May also have good weather conditions with long spring days and spectacular sunsets between Cerboli and Salivoli.
For the true outdoor lovers, October (statistically the month with most rainfall) brings absolute peace and relaxation, the return of local fauna (from the small squirrels to the imposing wild boars) and of autumn colors in the dense forest.
