Contract&Privacy - Sailing School Rules
1) Comply with safety rules, follow instructions. Before departure, request staff to check that the boat and equipment are in good order. Follow instructions on appropriate use of clothing (life vest, wet suit, trapezium, shoes when necessary) and of equipment for pedal boats, canoes, sailing and motor boats, (for minors, a parent or guardian must pay attention to instructions and participate in preparation).

2) Use boats only with appropriate equipment.

3) Each boat can hold a limited number of people: pedal boat (4 adults + 1 child); single canoe (1 adult); double canoe (2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child); sailing boats (Pacific 3 adults; Dragoon 2 adults; Laser 1 adult; X-14 2 adults); motor boats (5 adults + 1 child).

4) The beach staff reserves the right to deny service to anyone who does not comply with these rules.

5) An adult parent or guardian must sign a written permission (see Rental Contract) for minors under 18 years.

Rental contract

Ownership and Object: The PuntAla Camping Resort is owned by the Campeggio PuntAla S.r.l. located in Castiglione della Pescaia, Loc. Punta Ala, P.IVA and C.F. 01233070539, referred to as “Campeggio Puntala”. Campeggio Puntala provides rental services to its clients as defined below:

1) Rental activities such as those provided by the PuntAla Sailing School – rental of sailing boats, motor boats, canoes and pedal boats – contain some inherent risk. The client is aware that the correct use of equipment, the compliance with staff instructions and a state of good health will minimize such risks.
2) The client must comply with safety rules and follow instructions. Before departure, the client must request staff to check that the boat and equipment are in good order. The client must follow instructions on appropriate use of clothing (life vest, wet suit, trapezium, shoes when necessary) and of equipment for pedal boats, canoes, sailing and motor boats, (for minors, a parent or guardian must pay attention to instructions and participate in preparation).
3) The client declares to have fully understood staff instructions, which he/she will strictly comply with.
4) The client declares to rent boats and equipment of Surf ‘n Sial Center at his/her own risk and to fully assume all risk of injuries to people or damage to equipment during rental period.
5) The client explicitly releases and discharges the organization and its staff from all actions, claims or demands for injury to people or damage to equipment. This waiver does not apply in the event of gross negligence on part of the organization.
6) The client declares that he/she does not have any health problems that might interfere with the proper use of nautical equipment.
7) The client declares that he/she is not under the influence of alcohol, drugs and/or prescription medicine than might impair mobility and/or the ability to think clearly.
8) The client assumes full responsibility in the case of damage to rental equipment and will be charged for the cost of repair in case of damage.
9) The client explicitly authorizes Campeggio Puntala S.r.l. to collect, handle, communicate and distribute his/her own personal data for the purposes of executing this agreement, hereby including the fulfillment of legal obligations and the execution of orders by the authorities.
10) In accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, the client declares to have been properly informed about the methods, including the use of electronic devices, and purposes by which Campeggio Puntala S.r.l. handles his/her personal data.
11) In accordance with art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, by forwarding a written request to Campeggio Puntala S.r.l., the client shall be entitled at all times and free of charge, to consult, change, or cancel his/her own personal data, or to oppose the handling of the same for legitimate reasons.
12) In accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, it is hereby communicated that the entity in charge of the data handling is the company Campeggio Puntala S.r.l., with office in 58043 Punta Ala, Grosseto, Italy, tel. +390564922254, fax +390564920379,e-mail: info@campingpuntala.it, and the person in charge of the data handling is Dr. Thomas Andrew Daddi, domiciled for this purpose care of the office of the aforementioned company.
