Follonica - Closest town for shopping centers and business enterprises, train station and other public services such as emergency care, post office and local administration.

Punta Ala - Part of the Castiglione della Pescaia territory, Punta Ala is located between Pian d’Alma and Punta Hidalgo, at the southern end of the Gulf of Follonica. Punta Ala faces the Tuscan Archipelago, directly opposite Elba Island, with Capraia to the north, Giglio and Montecristo to the south.
