Sailing – past and future programme highlights
The Circolo Velico Cala Civette, the amateur sports association that has its premises inside our camping resort and through which, since 2004, PuntAla has hosted no less than four international sailing events (two European and two at world level) and numerous local and national regattas, is now preparing to host two new events:

• Sunfish World 2010 (from 12 to 19 June), 5 days of world-class challenges between around a hundred little sailboats with lateen sails handled by one-man crews even from overseas (the sunfish dinghy is very popular in the Caribbean).
• I° Trofeo SKIFF PuntAla (during the first week-end of September 2010), a three-in-one event that will involve competitors of different categories pitting their skills in one Italian championship and two regional regattas. In addition to the Laser 4000 and 29er classes, the Olympic class 49er will also be well represented by about 20 crews, for a total of around 120 participants.

As usual, the regatta days will feature adrenalin-packed competition events alternated with the social and cultural appointments organised by the Circolo.
